• Educational visit to the Wildlife Forensic Academy :Your knowledge of forensic science and investigative techniques will be expanded on to include a variety of wildlife crime scenarios, focusing on the challenges and crime types seen in Southern Africa. You will be introduced to local ecology, history and survival skills within this environment. You will gain knowledge on proper conduct when encountering a wildlife crime scene, which may involve live and/or injured animals. This includes learning how to handle animals, evaluate injuries, and recognize crucial indicators of wildlife poisoning.The Wildlife Forensic Academy is conveniently located just over an hours' drive outside beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. In the middle of Buffelsfontein, a private wildlife reserve, lies our 800m2 state-of-the-art forensic training experience lab.
